Katy Perry stays atop singles chart for third week
LONDON -- Coldplay's reign on European Top C Albums moves into double figures as "Viva la Vida" (Parlophone), starts a tenth week at No. 1. Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" (Virgin) begins a third week atop Eurochart Hot century Singles.
The Coldplay album is down to the final of its remaining No. 1 berths -- in France. It falls from the upper side in Holland and the Belgian realm of Wallony. But it holds at No. 4 in Spain and moves up from No. 7 to No. 6 in Italy.
The intact top 10 of the Pan-European record album chart is unchanged, with the elision of 2 titles that trade places. ABBA's "Gold -- Greatest Hits" (Polydor/Universal) moves up from No. 6 to No. 5 as Amy Macdonald's "This Is the Life" (Mercury/Universal) moves in the other direction.
The ABBA compilation is at No. 2 once more in the U.K. and Ireland and climbs from No. 6 to No. 4 in Norway. Macdonald's album holds at No. 3 in Flanders and No. 4 in Germany and Holland.
Perry's single adds three new No. 1 rankings, moving from No. 2 to No. 1 in Germany, Austria and Ireland, and holds at the tiptop in the U.K., Denmark and Switzerland. It's likewise No. 2 in Sweden and Norway.
The biggest new single of the calendar week on the Eurochart, with a No. 6 debut, is Montreal-born French whizz Mylene Farmer's "Degeneration." That's after a No. 1 debut in France and a 33-1 climb in Wallony.

Richard Branson: 'My Son Lost His Virginity to Natalie Imbruglia'
Billionaire Sir Richard Branson has a "funny tactual sensation" his logos lost his virginity to Australian vocalizer Natalie Imbruglia.
The Virgin Group founder -- worth an estimated $8.8billion -- believes son Sam, 22, did the deed with the Torn hitmaker.
He's quoted by British publication The London Paper as saying, "He power have lost his virginity to Natalie, I've got a funny feeling.
"But that was some years ago. And earlier she was married."
Imbruglia, 33, married in 2003, when Sam was 17. She split from hubby Daniel Johns in January � and was seen getting cozy with Sam at a knock at Kensington Roof Gardens (London) in March.

DMX Arrested For A Sixth Time In 2008 In Miami
US rapper DMX has been arrested for the sixth meter this class, after a warrant was issued by a gauge in Phoenix.
The rapper, whose real distinguish is Earl Simmons, was taken into custody in Miami afterwards he failed to appear in courtyard on Tuesday to grimace charges of possessing drugs.
Simmons's lawyer had claimed he lost his appearance in homage because he had checkered into a hospital in Miami.

Supergrass To Release Glange Fever DVD
Supergrass will be the subject of a new "rockumentary", that follows the low-key club shows the band performed under the alias of the Diamond Hoo Ha Men last year.
Named 'Glange Fever', the film captures band members Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey as their alter egos Randy and Duke, during December 2007. Bass player Mickey Quinn was absent for these dates, as he was recovering from a serious spinal injury.
'Glange Fever' will be released as a DVD on August 4th.

Paul Newman - First Tabloids Now Mainstream Press Report Newman Cancer
A celebrity column in the Los Angeles Timeswebsite today (Tuesday) picked
up British tabloid reports that Paul Newman is dying of lung cancer. The Times
report, which linked to an item in News Corp's gossipy London Star, was itself
picked up by newspapers all over the world. (The National Enquirer has also
reported that Newman is suffering from inoperable lung cancer). Today's (Tuesday)
London Daily Mail, ran a photograph of a gaunt-looking Newman standing with
Martha Stewart at a fundraising event in Connecticut for his children's cancer charity,
The Hole in the Wall Gang. The date of the photo is not indicated, although the last
such function for the organization occurred on June 1. While the tabloid accounts
said that Newman had been hospitalized at New York's Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the
Daily Mail said that a spokesperson for the actor insisted that Newman was
being treated for athlete's foot and hair loss.
